Our
Philosophy
Our Centre Philosophy has been developed in collaboration with the families and team members' own beliefs, values, and life experiences with the goal to provide a safe, healthy, caring and stimulating environment for children and their families.
A place to belong and be heard
Our program and teaching pedagogy aims to foster children’s connection with their world around them by creating opportunities for children to investigate, discover and explore freely.
We believe in documenting the children’s experiences to make their learning and voices visible to our community and provide the children with opportunities to reflect, share and build on their understanding.
Children are able to explore their environment, alongside our nurturing educators who support each child's individual learning and development.
A place to grow
We believe that the environment plays a significant role in shaping children's learning experiences. Our spaces are carefully designed to feel safe, welcoming, inclusive and scaffolds independent exploration.
We prioritise nature play and sustainable practices to instil a sense of environmental responsibility in children. We aim to create a supportive and inclusive indoor and outdoor environment that inspire children to learn and grow.
Our goal is to provide children with a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. By incorporating natural elements and sustainable materials into our spaces, we aim to create a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around them.
A place to feel connected
As a centre, we strive to build a strong foundation based on respect, open communication, and active participation.
We create partnerships with our educators, children, families, and our wider community to come together and celebrate all traditions and cultural events.
We strongly believe in the importance of community collaboration; we sincerely invite all family and community members to join us on our journey. We value the diversity of our community and aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
A place to develop
We offer opportunities for educators to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies through regular training and professional development.
We prioritise respectful and professional interactions with our families, children, and staff, recognising the importance of collaborative continuity of care.
Our goal is to provide our community with qualified and dedicated staff who are committed to continuous improvement and guiding children towards developing essential knowledge and life skills for success.
